Hello! Southern PA Clay welcomes you to our Children's Classes! Below is some information about this upcoming course.

This class takes place one time, and is not one of our recurring classes. Your child will receive clay, tools, and thorough instruction from a SPAC instructor! The instructor leads the class through the creation/construction of two ceramic objects throughout the duration of our 2-hour class!
 
You then select the glaze(s) of your choice from our colorful selection of food safe, high temperature, stoneware glazes! We handle the various drying and firing stages of your items and notify you when they are ready to be picked up! Your ceramic piece(s) typically take 3-4 weeks to become dry, fired, glazed, then fired once more!
 
$35.00 Per Seat, (Maximum of 8 Seats)

10 Minute Meet-&-Greet + 1.5 Hour Class Session + 20 Minute Cleanup-&-Pictures
 
All Materials and Firings Included!
 
**Please note that in order to work on the potter’s wheel, you need to have your fingernails clipped. Having fingernails any longer than 1/8" makes the process quite difficult. If, in taking this class, you wish to experience making the piece yourself, we suggest clipping those nails. If you want to come just for the fun of it, regardless of if you do have long nails, feel free! We will make it work!
 
**The Instructor reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. Though quite rare, if the class has low enrollment, there is a slight possibility of it being canceled.**
