Cancellations happen...

We understand that life happens. Here is some information regarding our cancellation and make-up policies.

Cancellations - 1-Day Classes

Cancellations for 1-Day classes are permitted up to 7 days prior to the start of the session.  To receive a refund or a credit towards another class, cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the class takes place.

  • If your schedule changes, and you are unable to attend a workshop or class that you have paid for and is taking place within the next 7 day time frame, we are unable to refund your tuition cost. In the event of an unforeseeable emergency, you may enroll in a make-up class free of charge within the next 12 months. (An overlooked scheduling conflict would not be classified as an unforeseeable emergency.)

  • We reserve the right to cancel or merge any of our classes based on enrollment.

  • If a class is canceled or merged with another class/class time, all students enrolled will be notified. Those students will have the right to cancel their registration for a full refund, or receive a credit for the next class session.

Cancellations - 7-Week Recurring Classes

Cancellations for recurring classes (4 or 7 week classes) are permitted up to 14 days prior to the start of the session. To receive a refund or a credit towards another class, cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the beginning of the first class day.

  • If your schedule changes, and you are unable to consistently attend a workshop or class that you have paid for and is taking place within the next 14 days, we are unable to refund your tuition cost.

Make-Up Policy

We do have a make-up policy for days missed during recurring classes. If you must miss a scheduled class time during a 4 or 7 week class, you have the right to reschedule, at the instructor's discretion, up to 2 class times. These make-up days must occur within 2 months of the missed day.

Unfortunately, there is no make-up policy for non-emergency 1 day classes.

Please see the above section entitled: “Cancellations - 1-Day Classes”.

We do understand extenuating circumstances. If an emergency arises, please contact the owner to work out an appropriate solution.

End of Session Policies

After a class ends, your work will be fired for you. Once the work is fired and ready to be picked up, you will receive a notification from SPAC. Once this notification has been sent, you have 4 months to retrieve your work. After 4 months, it is considered abandoned and may be thrown away or donated. We at SPAC do not enjoy throwing away artwork and it is not our goal to be harsh. The reality is that this type of artwork takes up physical space. When too much physical space is taken up, items need to be removed. If an item cannot be donated, it may be repurposed or thrown away. **We will not sell any abandoned work.**
