Hello! Southern PA Clay welcomes you to our Adult ‘Try It’ Class! 
Below is some information about this upcoming course.
 
CLASS DATE & TIME : Friday July 25, 2025 6:00PM-8:00PM
 
This class takes place one time, and is not one of our recurring classes. You will receive clay, tools, and instruction from a SPAC instructor! The instructor leads the class through the creation/construction of several ceramic objects throughout the duration of our 2-hour class!
 
You will then select the glaze(s) of your choice from our colorful selection of food safe, high temperature, stoneware glazes! We handle the glaze application (just a quick dip), and the various drying and firing stages of your items, and then notify you when they are ready to be picked up! 
 
Your ceramic piece(s) typically take 2-4 weeks to become dry, fired, glazed, then fired once more!
 
$45.00 Per Seat, (Maximum of 8 Seats)
 
Class Schedule (2 Hours per class):
5 Minute Meet-&-Greet  
1.75 Hour Class Session 
10 Minute Cleanup-&-Pictures
 
All Materials and Firings Included!
 
**The Instructor reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. If the class has low enrollment, there is a possibility of it being canceled.**
 
**Please note that in order to work on the potter’s wheel, you need to have your fingernails clipped. Having fingernails any longer than 1/8" makes the process quite difficult. If, in taking this class, your child wishes to experience making the piece themselves, we suggest clipping those nails!
