This Coffee Grounds Bowl was designed for the purpose of housing spent coffee and espresso grounds. SPAC consumes a lot of coffee and needed a way to encourage spent pucks to detach from their portafilter. After its final glaze firing, the Coffee Ground Bowl is flipped over and has its rim dipped in a thick silicone rubber. This rubber cushion allows for the vigorous tapping of your portafilter sometimes required for puck release. It also comes standard with handles (if you choose) so it can easily be taken to the compost pile or to your trash can. It is recommended that you hand wash this item.
