Hello! Southern Pennsylvania Clay welcomes you to join our 7-Week Adult Classes! Below is some information about this upcoming course. This class will be taught by Instructor Corey.
 
CLASS DATE & TIME : 
Tuesday Evenings in September & October, 2026, 6:00PM-8:30PM
 
This class occurs over a 7 week time period, meeting once per week for the entire 7 week duration. You will receive clay, tools, and instruction from a Southern PA Clay instructor! The instructor leads the class through the creation/construction of several ceramic objects throughout the duration of your 7 week class. Typically, there are 6-12 multi-sized items made throughout the course. This, of course, varies based on experience, outside practice time, interest, and commitment!
 
There will be 5.5 classes dedicated to wet clay work and the making of clay items, and 1.5 classes dedicated to the discussion and the glazing of those items. You will learn the holy trinity of basic clay construction: pinch and paddle, coil building, and slab construction. You will also learn cleanup and decoration techniques for your creations! SPAC fires the finished projects after you glaze them in the final class, and then notifies you when they are ready to be picked up!
$235.00 Per Seat, (Maximum of 12 Seats)

Class 3 - September 22, 6:00PM-8:30PM
2 Hour 30 Minute Class + 10 Minute Cleanup (hand trimming & coiling)
 
Class 4 - September 29, 6:00PM-8:30PM
2 Hour 30 Minute Class + 10 Minute Cleanup (coiling)
 
Class 5 - October 6, 6:00PM-8:30PM
2 Hour 30 Minute Class + 10 Minute Cleanup (slab building)
 
Class 6 - October 13, 6:00PM-8:30PM
2 Hour 30 Minute Class + 10 Minute Cleanup (slab building)
 
Class 7 - October 20, 6:00PM-8:30PM
2 Hour 30 Minute Class + 10 Minute Cleanup (decorating & glazing)

Full 7-Week Adult Classes come with open studio time! During the 7 weeks, you are allowed to practice outside of class time, in the studio, as often as you like. These sessions have to fall between 12PM and 8PM. ***We will discuss this topic specifically in the first class***
 
The Instructor reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment! If the class has low enrollment, there is a possibility of it being canceled.
 
Parking. Our studio is located on the back side of the York Street Mini Mall- accessible via
School Avenue. We do have a parking lot! It is located directly across Pleasant Street from
